Future Foundation to address the Scottish Food and Drink Industry at the Scottish Parliament

The Future Foundation has been asked to deliver a keynote speech around ‘What does the future hold for Scotland’s food and drink industry?’

The Chief Executive of Scotland Food and Drink, Paul McLaughlin has invited the Future Foundation to deliver a key note speech to executives from the top 150 Scottish Food and Drink companies.
The Leadership Event, to be held on 17th September, in the Debating Chamber of the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, will include a range of speakers from within the industry, wider business, journalism, politics and the international arena.

Scotland Food & Drink is the industry leadership organisation for the food and drink sector in Scotland and in December 2009 their industry strategy was re-launched with redefined targets which included the whole food and drink supply chain.  This event will focus on some of the opportunities and barriers to achieving their vision.

The Future Foundation has been asked to deliver a keynote speech around ‘What does the future hold for Scotland’s food and drink industry?’, a session that will be incredibly interesting for participants to hear an insightful perspective from outside of the industry, and that will also tie in with the strategy work of Scotland Food and Drink.

Barry Clark, Account Director at the Future Foundation, will deliver the address in September.
