Workshops and Presentations

We have been running workshops for clients across many organisations for over 10 years, and have a wide range of creative thinking, brainstorming, projective and deliberative techniques available that can be put together, in the context of our futures analysis and trends, to achieve a range of futures-orientated objectives with groups ranging from 10 to 100. Our aim is always to make sure that workshop sessions are enjoyable, stimulating and participative – enabling clients to interact creatively and constructively with the wider views of society and future trends that we provide through our work, both projects and nVision.

There are a number of reasons that clients might need workshops, either on a standalone basis or as part of a project – or in addition to their nVision subscription. These include:

  • Need for clients to get more engaged by participating fully in interpreting trends and exploring how insights can be translated into actions and strategies within the business
  • Specific requirements for generating new ideas for products and services, or developing new strategic responses to changing market conditions, and competitive activity
  • Creating opportunities for multidisciplinary teams to work together on innovation projects, breaking down silos and bringing different levels together
  • Ensuring that different stakeholder groups can engage in project processes and help shape outcomes as part of a wider consultation programme to enhance legitimacy and create buy-in to future policies

When clients ask for help with workshops, we would generally require a detailed brief in order to respond with a proposal and costs, since every workshop is individually tailored to meet your objectives. The way we charge is related to our estimate of the time involved to design and deliver the workshop plus any additional costs for materials, illustration and organisation of the event.

It depends what you want and need – the main parameters will be what your objectives are; how many people are attending; time allocated to the event; level of staff involved; ambitions in terms of outputs – also the requirement for professional illustration and visualisation services.
