The nature of modern time-pressures continues to fascinate. Europeans have more time and money than ever before to devote to their leisure pursuits. In this report we look at European's expectations on leisure. Into what precisely are we now trying to convert the time that is not committed to the boss? Do we want new experiences at any price? And if so, which ones? We argue that leisure today is turning into a blurred sphere in which the search for active, enrichment, passive leisure and even 'smart boredom' co-exist.
