The Future Foundation is proud of its long and successful track record of developing and delivering major consortia programmes on behalf of groups of clients.  In 2007, our three major projects – ‘The Future of Entertainment’ (UK), ‘Climate Change and the Future of Brands’ and ‘Understanding Choice in Financial Services’ – saw companies such as Channel 4, IPC, Sony, Royal Mail, BT, Nationwide, Virgin and The Carbon Trust benefiting from our innovative research techniques and multi-disciplinary points of view. 

The benefits of working as part of a consortium are manifold.  From our experience, we know that the ability to collaborate with participants from other market sectors facing the same questions is key.  In addition to shared learning, shared costs and shared resources (and even the chance to try out new techniques in a safe environment) always proves valuable for short, medium and long-term strategic planning.
