Board

Christophe Jouan - Managing Director

Christophe joined the Future Foundation in 1998 to develop our nVision consumer insight services which now have over 200 subscribers European wide. With the success of nVision UK Christophe subsequently developed nVision Europe and nVision France supported by an international team of consultants. He still plays an active role in the editorial and analytical development of all services and specialises in the cultural similarities and differences across Europe and their impact on consumer markets.
Christophe was appointed as Managing Director of nVision in 2001, however after taking a wide role in the international expansion of the Future Foundation, and sitting on the board of both the Future Foundation and Experian Business Strategies, Christohpe was made Managing Director of the Future Foundation in March 2007.
Through his years of experience at the Future Foundation, Christophe has worked with a wide range of organisations, gaining expertise in many consumer markets such as financial services, fmcg, retail as well as media and communications.
Christophe regularly designs and delivers workshops for clients on a variety of issues surrounding social, economic, political and technological change both at UK and European level. He is also often invited to speak at many external conferences for organisations such as the European Policy Centre and M&S.

Joe Staton - Content Director

Joe joined the Future Foundation in January 2008 to help develop the advertising and marketing consultancy side of the business and to take charge of the ever expanding content division with responsibility for the intellectual output and knowledge capital of the group. Since joining, Joe has delivered a major new consumer propositions project for a FTSE 100 financial services group and is currently working on an industry response to the opportunities that social media affords the brand communications industry.
For the last three years, Joe worked in planning and intelligence for JWT as part of the new business team with the remit of understanding changing consumer trends to identify and exploit new market opportunities. Joe’s first job in advertising saw him gainfully employed by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) in research before moving onto his first ad agency, Euro RSCG in business development. This was followed by a stint at Ammirati Puris Lintas (IPG, now Lowe Worldwide) as Futures Director and then to Leo Burnett as Futures & Knowledge Director in the late 90's for the first dot.com boom and bust.
Joe has also spent a number of years working as a freelance planner and writer on the agency, media and client side which gives him a jolly well-rounded perspective on all aspects of the communications mix. Joe enjoys public speaking which is good as he’s spoken on all continents – from the ad festival in Cannes to clients in Chicago and Cairo – majoring on the ever evolving future of advertising, agencies, media, marketing and branding.

James Murphy - Editorial Director

James Murphy is Editorial Director at the Future Foundation, responsible for the content of both nVision (EU and UK) and TrendExpress, the Future Foundation's new trends-tracking service. He is also Director of Model Reasoning, the planning consultancy, focusing on public sector clients.
Formerly, James was Director of Analysis at First&42nd, the business consultancy of Edelman International and a non-executive director of Cohn&Wolfe. He has appeared as a commentator on socio-economic change on Newsnight, Start the Week and The Today Programme.
James has recently completed a major project on the impact of new cost burdens on middle-class lifestyles in the UK as well as a study of the impact of invitations to non-consumption in tourism markets. And very soon he will complete an update of the Central Scenario, the set of core ideas behind the nVision service

Meabh Quoirin - Client Director

Meabh joined the Future Foundation in 2002 as Head of Business Development and spent 3 years driving nVision’s ambitious sales strategy both in the UK and in Europe before moving into a senior management position on the Board of Directors.
Her current challenge is to achieve the Future Foundation’s commercial objectives of solid client growth in Europe as well as expansion of their offer to a global level. As such, her role spans two key areas; directing the sales and client activity as well as the marketing strategy.
A truly bilingual French and English speaker Meabh has a varied commercial background in France and the UK with experience in conference development and within the marketing department at Disney. As a Board Director, Meabh regularly intervenes as the public face of the Future Foundation, both as a regular spokesperson for the press and as an experienced conference speaker. She is also responsible for effective collaboration with parent company, Experian Business Strategies.
She holds a BA (Hons) in International Business Communication from the University of Ulster as well as a Masters Degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Strasbourg.

Karen Elton - Director of Research & Consortia

As Director of Research Karen is responsible for the design and procurement of research commissioned on behalf of clients and for the Future Foundation itself. This includes the continuing development of our pan-European proprietary research programme into attitudes, behaviour and lifestyles. The USA has recently been added to our coverage, with further global expansion planned.
Karen is well known for her use of innovative research methods and desire to bring findings to life visually and meaningfully. Her particular interest is in combining qualitative and quantitative research techniques to test out particular hypotheses and provide a richer picture of the issue under investigation.
Karen takes an active role in consultancy projects featuring original research. She advises on methodological approaches to ensure high standards are maintained and appropriate techniques are developed and employed.
Karen also directs the Consortia programme (large scale, multi-client, multi-methodology projects). Recent consortia include ‘Climate Change and the Future of Brands’, the ‘Role of Choice in Financial Services’ and ‘The Future of Entertainment.’ The entertainment study is now being extended into 5 European countries. Upcoming consortia cover such topics as Social Networking, the ‘Future of the Home’ and the ‘Role of Influencers’ in consumer decision-making.
A Full Member of the Market Research Society, Karen has almost 20 years' market research experience, much gained in full-service market research agencies such as BMRB and Taylor Nelson Sofres. She joined the Future Foundation from the Henley Centre where she spent more than 5 years as Research Director.

Account Directors
Addween Sacha - Account Director, Media & Travel

Addween joined the Future Foundation in 2005 as a Senior Consultant, having previously worked for several major blue chip companies spanning media, FMCG and information solutions. Her experience encompasses marketing, advertising, planning and all aspects of research, and in 2008 she was appointed Account Director for media, publishing, travel and leisure. She is responsible for managing several major clients including Associated Newspapers, Haymarket, Penguin and VisitScotland and is accountable for delivering all Future Foundation services to existing and new clients. Her role also encompasses communicating and reporting sector specific analysis, information and trends.
Since joining the Future Foundation, Addween has managed some major projects including a comprehensive consumer and corporate research programme on behalf of the Direct Marketing Council, and has also managed the consumer research programme for NORDMA, the direct marketing association in Norway. She has also managed research into Ethical Consumption for the Cooperative Group, worked with Logica looking at Water Consumption and Conservation, explored the social and psychological benefits of cinema going for the UK Film Industry and recently worked with the Women’s Sports and Fitness Foundation looking at increasing sports participation amongst women and girls.
Having graduated from the University of London, Royal Holloway and Bedford New College with a degree in Economics and Sociology, Addween joined IPC magazines where she worked on advertising, trade marketing, new product launches, circulation, research and analysis. Following that she moved into the world of FMCG working firstly for Nestle as a category analyst and later moving on to Danone where she was research manager. She has also spent some time working as a planner for Forward, a major customer magazine and direct marketing agency and more recently, she was a senior analyst at Experian Business Strategies.

Barry Clark - Account Director, Finance & Utilities

Barry Clark has worked in marketing for over ten years in both retail, FMCG and media.
Barry studied marketing and industrial relations at Strathclyde University, scooping a couple of prizes during his time there. He first job was selling beer - surely the dream of every young man. After a three year stint in sales for the Whitbread Beer Company, Barry moved to the company's marketing division where he worked across a number of brands including Hoegaarden, Stella Artois and Boddingtons. He then worked in new product development project-managing the creation and delivery of new brands. A spell with Costa Coffee followed where he created the marketing function at a time when the UK coffee market was beginning to undergo rapid growth. After the cappuccino years, Barry started a new chapter at HarperCollins as Senior Marketing Manager for Entertainment books. During his six years at the company he was responsible for marketing the JRR Tolkien catalogue at the time of the hugely successful Lord of the Rings movie franchise. This golden period gave him the excuse to travel to Cannes and New York while working with the studio, New Line Cinema. He also worked with brand owners, licensees and celebrities on the marketing of a range of books. During his time at HarperCollins Barry was elected as Chairman of the Audio Publishing Association, representing all publishers.
Barry joined the Future Foundation in April 2006, originally as Head of Client Services working with a variety of clients including OMD, Standard Life and RBS. In 2008 he became an Account Director with responsibility for both financial services and utilities. Barry has recently completed a project with Lloyds TSB that used consumer trend work as a platform for creative proposition development.
Barry has extensive experience of research and insight and is a trained focus-group moderator. As such he knows from painful experience how difficult it can be to keep a conversation with 12 surly blokes going for 90 minutes. Unsurprisingly he demonstrates considerable empathy for those involved in qualitative research.

Edward Greggs - Account Director, FMCG & Automotive

Edward became an Account Director in April 2008, after having joined the Future Foundation as a Client Services Manager in 2006. As an Account Director Edward is responsible for all aspects of our work involving the FMCG and Automotive sectors. Developing and improving our thought on these areas, managing projects and building relationships with our clients.
Having graduated with a degree in history from the University of Leeds in 2003, Edward joined the Future Foundation after having spent two years at TNS Worldpanel, working closely and successfully with large retail and FMCG clients, such as Coca Cola and L'Oreal.

Eric Robertet - Director, Future Foundation France

Eric joined the Future Foundation in September 2005 to develop the Future Foundation’s nVision France service. His main roles are to continually grow the nVision service throughout France as well as contributing to the French content within the service.

Sarah Robinson - Account Director, Digital Media & Technology

Having been with the Future Foundation for five years, in March 2008 Sarah was appointed Account Director for clients in the digital media, broadcasting, telecoms and consumer electronics sectors. As well as overseeing the day to day running of her clients' accounts, she is responsible for winning and delivering bespoke consultancy across the full range of Future Foundation services. She is also responsible for developing and communicating new ideas and analysis to the sectors she manages.
Sarah has over 10 years experience in business development, conference production and consumer research, and has a strong interest in the issues surrounding media and technology. She graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA (Hons) in English & American Literature in 1997.

Chris Farmelo - Quantitative Analysis

Chris joined the Future Foundation in May 2001 in order to help develop and increase the amount of quantitative and modelling work undertaken by the company. Chris has over 20 years experience in economic and market modelling spending much of his career at the Henley Centre for Forecasting, where he was jointly responsible for the building of the company's quantitative offer. Between 1992 and 1995 Chris was managing director of the Henley Centre and after that became Deputy Chairman. In 1996 he established CAI Ltd a marketing company which undertakes consultancy in the area of pricing. Chris remains a director of CAI. He also spends some of his time helping a range of large charities to help plan and forecast their future levels of legacy income. Recent clients include: Northcliffe, Abbey National and Grosvenor.

Damian Lord - Senior Analyst

As a Senior Analyst within the content and intelligence divisions, Damian's role primarily centres around nVision Europe in terms of analytical upkeep and client liaison, as well as contributing to multi-discourse projects and report-writing. He also holds select nVision client accounts. His sector specialism is within Retail and Property, alongside Account Director Caroline Leroi. Some of the work he has undertaken whilst at the Future Foundation has included comprehensive PR projects for Kellogg's and Bendicks, as well as work for the likes of esure, Adidas and Barclays.
Prior to joining Future Foundation, Damian worked at SPA Research and was involved in both Quantitative and Qualitative projects for the likes of Procter & Gamble and What's on TV. Before relocating to London, he previously worked as Projects Development Assistant at Egenica Ltd in Greater Manchester, working with clients such as Flying Presents and Fairport Convention with more of a design and copywriting focus. Academically, Damian has a BA (hons) in Sociology from the University of Leeds, and an MA in Sociology from the University of Manchester, where his research dissertation examined postindustrial urbanism and public space consumption in the city of Manchester.

Dominic Harrison - Senior Analyst

Dominic joined the Future Foundation in July 2006 and is a new addition to the nVision Europe team.
Working as an analyst, his responsibilities include updating content for the Pan-European consumer insight service, writing and revising reports and carrying out analysis of our biannual proprietary research programme, Changing Lives. Dominic also regularly works with the Consultancy team and looks after nVision client requests. He joins us having completed an Internship with the Projects team in the Autumn of 2005.
Dominic graduated from the University of Bristol with an Honours degree in Politics and German, during which time he spent an academic year in Vienna studying pre-WWI Viennese history and teaching English. He regularly translates articles for the current affairs journal, Café Babel, and has travelled extensively in Europe, Turkey and Mexico.

Jamie McCullagh - Senior Analyst, nVision France

In his role as an Analyst, Jamie manages nVision France content whilst also working closely with our nVison Europe service. He recently produced two nVision France reports: The Future of Music Production and Consumption in France and Time, Technology and Mobility: Towards a Culture of Immediacy.
Jamie graduated with a first-class BA Hons in French and History from the University of Warwick in 2003 and also holds a professional translation/interpretation qualification from the British Institute in Paris (2002). He joined the Future Foundation in 2006, having worked for two and a half years as Press Attaché of the Tunisian National Tourist Office in London.

Lowri Rees - Junior Analyst

As part of her Psychology Degree from the University of Bath, Lowri joined the Future Foundation in June 2007 as a Junior Analyst. Main duties include data analysis, research and chart design. Lowri primarily works in nVision Europe, continuously updating and revising existing material in the database. She also assists account managers with administration needs and client services.

Marta Vilella-Vila - Head of Intelligence

Marta works as a Senior Analyst within the nVision Europe team. Her key responsibilities include managing the on-going updates and the new content for the nVision pan-European database and producing reports and presentations on a variety of consumer-related themes. She is also responsible for a number of clients who include Ikea, Mazda and Discovery Networks Europe.
Previously, Marta worked in Barcelona as a marketing research manager for the motorcycle sector (Derbi Nacional Motor S.A.) and as an internal communications officer for the Open University of Catalonia. After completing an MA in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths College, she was a researcher at the New Local Government Network, a think tank based in London.
She has published several papers on risk perception and media influence in the International Journal of Consumer Studies, Eurohealth and LSE discussion paper series and has previously participated in seminars at the London School of Economics.
Originally from Barcelona, Marta holds a BA (Hons) in Media & Sociology (UAB) and a Postgraduate degree in Communications Management (ESADE).

Matt Taylor - Senior Analyst

Matt joined the Future Foundation in August 2006 and works within the nVision UK team, specialising in quantitative analysis.
Matt's statistical expertise means that he works with a number of clients to carry out more advanced analysis of data and he regularly works with the Consultancy team on our more numerical projects. He is in charge of the forecast content on our nVision service which involves creating and maintaining forecasts on a number of subjects from technology penetration levels, consumer spending, economic indicators and, more recently, values and opinions.
Matt graduated from University College London in 2006 with an Honours degree in Economics & Statistics specialising in econometrics, time series modelling and probability theory.

Richard Nicholls - Analyst

Richard joined the Future Foundation as an Analyst in July 2007 and works within nVision's content and intelligence division. Working primarily on nVision UK, his responsibilities include managing nVision UK's content, writing regular reports and managing client accounts.
Before joining the Future Foundation, Richard was a Research Executive at leading market research agency Research International. He graduated in 2004 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.

Tim Yates - Head of Quantitative Analysis

Tim joined the consultancy team at the Future Foundation and has already managed projects for clients including Barclaycard and the International Longevity Centre. Tim specialises in econometric analysis and modelling techniques, which he used whilst managing projects for DEFRA and the Royal British Legion.
Before rejoining the Future Foundation, Tim was a Market Research Executive at BMRB Media, where his work included creating segmentation models for Which? and BBC Worldwide and managing international projects for clients including Unilever and the Henley Centre.
For 3 years, Tim previously worked as an Analyst for nVision - our successful on-line consumer insight service – at the Future Foundation. He was responsible for the quantitative analysis of social, behavioural and attitudinal research datasets and also edited nVision’s regular bulletin of economic trends, as well as managing and producing the Future Foundation’s econometric forecasts of consumer spending. Tim graduated from Nottingham University with an Honours degree in Mathematics.

Vivienne Gillan - Editor

Vivienne joined the Future Foundation in 2005. As Editor of nVision, she is responsible for driving the editorial direction of much of our thinking, overseeing the production of the written content on nVision and writing many reports herself. She also manages a number of clients across different sectors.
Prior to joining the Future Foundation, Vivienne worked as a Consultant at The Henley Centre for Forecasting and as a Strategy consultant at the retail design consultancy 20|20. She has worked with many blue-chip clients including British Telecom, Unilever, Coca-Cola and Orange.
Vivienne graduated in 2000 with a B.A. in Modern Languages from Oxford University.

Claire Jennings - Research Assistant

Claire joined the Future Foundation as a Research Assistant. As a member of the Research team she works closely with our Research Director on projects featuring original study, and is actively involved in the design and implementation of research projects.
Claire graduated with a Bsc (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Leeds in 2006. Prior to joining the Future Foundation in October 2007, Claire worked as an assistant within ITV Plc’s Knowledge Management department.

Katie Toll - Research Consultant

Katie is a Research Consultant within the research team and has particular responsibility for quantitative research. Her work encompasses individual clients projects, consortia projects and research commissioned for the Future Foundation itself. She is involved in all aspects of the research process, from questionnaire and survey design through to analysis and presentation of results to clients.
Katie graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2002 with a B.A. (Hons) degree in French and Business Studies.
Katie has 6 years market research experience and prior to joining the Future Foundation worked in research roles at The Henley Centre, BMRB and Mediaedge:cia. She has worked with a wide range of clients including AOL, BT, IPC Media, Guardian, Xerox and Sony Ericsson.

May Simonsen - Senior Research Analyst

May has been with the Future Foundation since 2004 and is currently a Senior Research analyst. She has recently taken on a new role working across our research team and our nVision Europe service and so divides her time between developing both our quantitative and qualitative research offers. She works with our Research Director on projects featuring original research and continues to contribute her analytical skills to nVision Europe.
As a member of the research team May is responsible for the design and implementation of research projects. She also looks after a number of nVision clients including Mediacom, Speedo International and O2 and has appeared regularly at internal and external conferences. She has authored reports for nVision on a varied list of topics including Marketing to Men, Authenticity, the Culture of Fear and Ethnicity.
Originally from Denmark, May studied a degree in Sociology and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths College in London. Prior to joining the Future Foundation she worked for BMRB International Social Research.

Nikhil Shah - Research Consultant

Nikhil has worked for the Future Foundation for three years in a variety of roles. He now sits on the research team and has responsibility for overseeing the quantitative elements of our consortium research programmes. He is involved in every aspect of research, from design through analysis to regularly presenting our findings to clients.
Nikhil graduated from Oxford University in 2002 with a degree in politics, philosophy and economics. He previously worked in publishing, as well as for an independent film festival, and travelled extensively around India before joining the Future Foundation. He is currently also studying part-time for an MSc in social research methods at the London School of Economics.

Thea Swayne - Visual Editor

In 2005, the Future Foundation commissioned a year-long project with InnovationRCA, at the Royal College of Art, London with the brief to develop a more effective means of communicating complex ideas about the future and social trends. InnovationRCA's Research Associates programme is dedicated to bringing RCA graduates and business organisations together to work on collaborative projects in the area of commercial innovation.
Thea, a graduate of the RCA, worked closely with the Future Foundation to build a new approach to visualising and communicating social and consumer trends. Thea’s study was about more than just enhancing presentation; the intention was to deepen the quality of analysis and ideas through an effective and new visual approach. The result was a set of ideas and visual guidelines that Thea has been implementing in the Future Foundation office as Visual Editor since September 2006.
As Visual Editor, Thea is responsible for managing and directing the Future Foundation’s visual content and resources - everything from information design to illustrative future scenarios. She has developed a client workshop toolkit that ultilises elements such as ‘trendcards’, posters and maps to bring ideas to life, recently used with great success at the Future of Entertainment UK Consortium and with the Coors Innovation Project. The toolkit is now an important part of the Future Foundation’s Innovation and Insight offer.
Thea has a first class honours degree from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London and an MA from the Royal College of Art in Communication Art and Design. She has won several prestigious prizes including the National Grid Transco Award Commission, 2004 and her graphic work has been featured in a number of international venues, including The Pompidou Centre, Paris. Thea is also a visiting lecturer at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

Nick Siantonas - Client Services Executive

Nick joined the Future Foundation in November 2007 as a Client Services Executive. Nick’s primary role is to look after our nVision clients in his capacity as an Account Manager by answering information requests, re-analysing current data and conducting bespoke desk research. He also works as an analyst, updating nVision content and analysing Changing Lives data.
Nick graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2007 with a BA (Hons) in Economics and Politics. His past work experience includes conducting qualitative analysis on a now published survey during his time at a management consultancy. Before joining the Future Foundation Nick travelled through Europe, East Asia and spent three weeks in Africa.

Yasmine Baladi - Head of Client Initiatives

Yasmine is our Head of Client Initiatives for nVision UK and Europe. Within this role she is responsible for strategic implementation, marketing to clients, client retention and invoicing. She personally manages a number of clients including UKTV, Barclays, Saatchi & Saatchi, Tesco and Oxfam. She is a regular presenter at both internal and external conferences and runs a number of client workshops and seminars.
Yasmine joined the Future Foundation in May 2003. She graduated from the University of Surrey where she gained a BSc Hons in Applied Psychology and Sociology. Prior to starting at the Future Foundation she worked for a police research department at the Home Office and worked across Europe, whilst travelling.

Business Development
Clare Staunton - Head of Business Development

Clare joined our Business Development team in July 2005. She is the first port of call for new client enquiries within the Future Foundation.
Clare has a deep understanding of The Future Foundation's work after gaining her degree in Sociology from the University of Durham. Her specialised subjects included the late night economy, deviant behaviour and organisational crime, study of childhood and the study of self and identity.
She also completed a project on social exclusion and regeneration in Dawdon, NE England, as well as a first class research dissertation understanding the current uses and future of CCTV within public spaces.
In addition to her academic knowledge she has particular commercial expertise in the travel and leisure market. Clare will be able to best direct your enquiry within the Future Foundation whether it be bespoke work (consultancy or presentations) or regarding the nVision portfolio.

Cristina Rodrigo Jiménez - Business Development Manager, Spain

Cristina joined the Future Foundation in May 2006 as the Business Development Manager for Spain. Working across all sectors Cristina looks after both our nVision and bespoke consultancy within Spain .
Cristina has 8 years experience as business developer in Europe and the Middle East. She has developed a deep knowledge of company’s needs and client’s approach in an international environment. Before joining the Future Foundation Cristina worked for the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Ankara where she helped Spanish companies better understand the Turkish market.
Cristina holds a MA in International Commerce at CESMA School of Business (Spain) and a degree in Political Science at Complutense University of Madrid (Spain)

Jonnie Taylor - Telesales Executive

Jonnie joined the business development team in March 2007. He focuses on offering both our subscription service nVision and bespoke services to companies primarily based in the UK across various sectors.
Jonnie comes from a background of business and psychological education. During his studying he became interested in the way the mind works and how that reflects on the behavioural sector of psychology. The integration between psychology and business came easily to Jonnie and he became very competent at analysing businesses, and how behaviour of the consumers and the management reflected upon the strategies that were placed out for the future.

Natalie Allsopp - Business Development Manager

Natalie has been working at the Future Foundation since August 2006. She started as an assistant to the Marketing and Sales divisions and moved on to become a Business Development Manager in January 2007.
Natalie is responsible for researching and winning new clients for nVision UK and Europe and has a particular focus on UK clients within the retail, media and advertising sectors. Natalie’s particular interest with retail and the creative industries derives from her background prior to working at the Future Foundation. She has worked in the design teams for a number of leading high street fashion retailers including Mosaic and Arcadia groups and has also researched fashion trends for trendzine.com. Her wider interest in consumer trends started from looking at Business Ethics within the fashion industry for her University dissertation with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and Citizen Brands.
Natalie graduated in 2003 from London College of Fashion with a first class BA (Hons) Product Design and Development for the Fashion Industries.

Gretchyn Agnew - Marketing Manager

Gretchyn joined the Future Foundation in April 2006 to assist with the summer events programme. This primarily involved coordinating the first ever combined UK and pan-European ‘Changing Lives’ conference.
Since then, Gretchyn has begun a permanent role looking after the UK and International events programme including ‘State of the Nation’ and various launch roadshows throughout Europe. In addition Gretchyn manages the continued development of our press coverage and key direct marketing campaigns.
Prior to joining the Future Foundation Gretchyn worked for HSBC and Rothschild banks. Prior to living in London, Gretchyn spent 2 years in a marketing assistant role for an office communications company in New Zealand.
Gretchyn has attained a Bachelor of Business Studies degree majoring in Marketing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration majoring in Human Resource Management from Massey University, New Zealand.

Josie Watson - Marketing Executive

Josie joined the Future Foundation as Marketing Assistant in October 2006 and provides support to key marketing functions within the organisation. Her responsibilities include development and maintenance of marketing materials, keeping our 200 nVision subscribers up to date with new analysis and data and assisting with the design and execution of our events programme including our annual flagship conference State of the Nation, and our European and UK based Changing Lives conferences.
Prior to joining the Future Foundation, Josie worked for Fossil UK in their Marketing department.
Josie graduated from Keele University in 2006 with a dual honours degree in Business Marketing and French, during which time she spent an academic year studying at ICHEC University in Brussels studying Marketing alongside French culture and language disciplines.

Sarah McDonald - Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager for the Future Foundation Sarah leads our online marketing activity across Europe and increasingly within the U.S. Responsible for maintaining and developing our websites, newsletters and interactive communications she is a central point of communication for both the nVision and bespoke consultancy offers.
Working closely with Head of Marketing and Communications, Sarah co-ordinates the marketing activity across our European offices to ensure a consistent profile and quality of our offer.
Sarah gained a Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Marketing, with a graduate diploma in Human Resource Management from Massey University, New Zealand. Prior to starting at the Future Foundation she worked as the international marketing assistant at Unitec New Zealand.

Oliver Loosemore - Project Coordinator

Olly joined the Future Foundation in August 2006 as our Operations Assistant. Olly's role is to support the work of all staff in the office and is the first point of contact for most people when contacting the Future Foundation.
Olly has worked in varying roles from IT for schools in Bromley, SE London; Charity Administrator and Operations Assistant for an international events company. Olly spends his free time volunteering for charity work, helping run a private members club and helping his old school with events.
